Shop and Give Something Back to the Troops Despite difficult financial times, we all still need the essentials to live, and with the holidays approaching, we're starting to build our gift lists too. What if there was a way to make a difference with the shopping you're going to do anyway?

No matter where you stand on the war, you want to help out the troops, right? Well now there's an organization that has developed an easy-to-use shopping program that gives you discounts at places you visit every day and gives up to 30 percent of the price of online purchases to U.S. troop charities.

TroopShopper is a company that is dedicated to helping the men and women who work to insure our freedom every day. They have worked to negotiate donations and deals with a variety of popular stores across the country.

How does it work?

You can become a member by visiting www.TroopShopper.com. After signing up, you receive a membership packet and discount card. Some of the stores participating in the program include Starbucks, Sharper Image, AMC Theaters, AT&T, PetSmart, Papa Johns, Buy.com, The Body Shop, Walmart and many more.

There are stores in just about any category you can imagine where you can save up to $2,000 a year. Once you are a member, you have access to a tool where you can search for participating stores by city and store type like electronic, automotive and clothing. But where you can make the most difference is by shopping online.

Online stores have agreed to a percentage of your purchase to be donated to one of TroopShopper's charities. These charities currently include:
* USA Cares
* Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation
* Operation Troop Aid
* Air Compassion for Veterans
* Wounded Warrior Project
* Army Emergency Relief
* Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society
* Air Force Aid Society

To read more about these charities and the great things they are doing for our military troops and their families, visit the Charities section at TroopShopper.com.

Everyone is giving the TroopShopper program positive feedback, including veterans who know how important these charities are. "What a great program! As a Gulf War Veteran, I am in favor of this Web site supporting U.S. troop charities. Thank you for your support!" says Glenn W. of Canton, Ohio.

You can become a member of TroopShopper for free for 30 days, just pay $3.95 for shipping and handling of your discount card and informational packet. Start making your purchases work for our troops! Visit www.TroopShopper.com to sign up today. Copyright © 2008, ARAnet, Inc.
