Creating a Project:

  • Just go here and follow the simple instructions.

Updating/Modifying a Project:

  • You have a bunch of editing options available on your project page.
  • Just look for the edit icons. Edit Icon Click on them to change some text or swap out an image.

Uploading/Changing Photos:

  • You can Upload your own photos to to your project page. Images will be scaled down to 550x500 pixels.
  • Click change photo next to an image to swap it out for a new one.
  • Click remove photo next to an image to permanently delete that photo from your page.
  • Click Add a Photo add extra photos to your project page.

Reporting Inappropriate Content:

  • Click Flag as inappropriate and an email will be sent to our editing staff who will review the page immediately.
  • Just click report this next to a comment to let our editors know a review is needed.

Project Summary

My father gave me some money for Christmas and I decided to build a model slot car track in our stables. Making it portable provided quite a challenge, even to my extensive DIY skills. I spent three months designing it and 18 months building it. The carpentry, electrics, painting, and engineering involved provided endless enjoyment.

I love this idea. With no basement in our house, there is no place to permanently put up our slot cars. This usually means they do not get used. I would love to know how this was accomplished.
